I was kindly sent out a few lots by the British Asparagus group today, so I decided to make this dish, primarily because I had feta in the refrigerator and thought it would be a good idea. Turns out, it was. A fast note about the maintained lemon you do not always need to buy it particularly for this recipe if you do not think you'll use it in anything else (due to the fact that only a really small amount is required), BUT if you do occur to have some in the refrigerator, then I highly suggest it as I think it works astonishingly with the feta.
